Logboat Brewing Cellar Person

Full Time - Salaried Position

The Cellar Person reports to the Production Manager and Brewing Staff at Logboat Brewing Company. 

The right candidate will:

• Possess a team-first attitude and understand the need to be a self-starter

• Have basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate machinery, including a forklift

• Maintain organization, discipline, be detail oriented with the ability to multitask

• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills

• Have a willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities

• Communicate efficiently and honestly with team and customers

• Possess an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

• Above all...maintain truthfulness and a positive attitude

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Racking and Carbonating Beer

• CIP of fermentation vessels, lager tanks, and packaging tanks

• Occasionally assisting brewers on brew day, i.e. operating the malt mill, etc. 

• Cleaning, sorting and organizing keg shells

• Filling kegs

• General brewery janitorial work, i.e. cleaning stainless parts, sweep and scrub floors, recycling, trash duty, etc. 

• Shipping and receiving help

The Cellar Person position is one where you will be working with the rest of the Production staff to accomplish the day's tasks with a focus on racking beer and cleaning tanks. 

This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours a week.
